Our objective is to improve the lives of Indigenous Australian Defence Force (ADF) veterans, Indigenous in-service ADF members, and their families.
We aim to:
- Build a community of Indigenous veterans regardless of how remote they might be.
- Maximise the receipt of entitlements for Indigenous veterans from government agencies, such as DVA and other established veteran’s groups.
- Maximise participation in initiatives offered by external organisations for Indigenous veterans.
- Develop support programs tailored to the needs of Indigenous veterans.
- Mentor and support Indigenous veterans to achieve their career and personal goals while serving and after they have left the Australian Defence Force.
- Recognise and share the contribution that Indigenous service has made to Australia.
- Be a reference group for Indigenous veterans’ views and understand our unique challenges.
- Build a financial base to provide continual support to Indigenous veterans.
